Herbst Theatre

The Herbst Theatre is the distinguished historic site of the United Nations Charter signing in 1945. It now serves as the primary venue for many of the Bay Area’s premier cultural organizations, including San Francisco Performances, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra , New Century Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Music San Francisco . SFAC Galleries

SFAC Galleries is a dynamic contemporary art program that has shown more than 4,400 local, national and international artists in over 480 exhibitions at two unique Civic Center locations. By commissioning new works, collaborating with arts and community organizations, and supporting artist’s projects, the SFAC Galleries provides new and challenging opportunities for contemporary art to engage with a civic dialog.

The University of California, Hastings College of the Law

University of California Hastings College of the Law is a public, coeducational, full-time law school in the nearby Tenderloin. Founded in 1878 as the first law department of the University of California, it is one of the most exciting and vibrant legal education centers in the nation, known for championing social justice.
In October 2017, UC Hastings will break ground on a new state-of-the-art, platinum LEED-certified academic facility at 333 Golden Gate Avenue, part of a major construction and renovation to the campus as part of the Long Range Campus Plan.
