The 2018 Commons Block Party on 1st Sundays – October 7th

Enjoy FREE family-friendly games and activities, street food offerings curated by Off the Grid, music by Bonneville San Francisco KMVQ 99.7 FM, an open-air bazaar with one-of-a-kind goods created by local SF Etsy artisans, and DIY arts and crafts.

Highlights for October 7th include FREE roller skating with Church of 8 Wheels; pumpkin decorating; a DIY knitting circle; a book sale booth by the Friends of the SF Public Library; and a chance to play your friends and family in a game of giant scrabble, brought to you by 826 Valencia!

Nearby, check out the Heart of the City Farmers’ Market in UN Plaza, visit the Asian Art Museum for FREE, or pop over to Civic Center Plaza to play on the new playgrounds and visit the Commons’ newest attraction: a major public art installation by Zak Ové, brought to you by the San Francisco Arts Commission.

Learn more on the Civic Center Commons website or via the 1st Sundays Facebook event or Eventbrite. Don’t forget, all events in the Commons Block Party series are BARTable! Take BART to the event and exit at Civic Center / UN Plaza Station.
